The design of this car from Modular City born from a competition launched by Renault some years ago which I attended but without much conviction. This is demonstrated by the fact that the project merely illustrates one aspect of the car to which I had thought in my head but this was to be just one way of use possible for this medium.
If we draw a vertical mark at the center of the image shows the side of the car we realize the symmetry. The two elements, front and back, can in fact be moved to give way to a central element to fit into the structure and turn it into a mini-bus with 6/7 seats or you can remove the rear and replace it with an open housing that turns around in a van from the city.
Unfortunately, the timing of the competition is not granted me to realize even the views of these aspects and was not understood. Now I plan to carry out the missing views so as to give you a better idea of what I meant and I intend to do.
Il progetto di questa Vettura Modulare da Città nasce da un concorso lanciato da Renault qualche anno fa al quale ho partecipato ma senza troppa convinzione. Lo dimostra il fatto che il progetto si limita ad illustrare uno degli aspetti della vettura alla quale avevo pensato ma nella mia testa questo doveva essere solo uno dei modi di utilizzo possibili per questo mezzo.
Se tracciamo un segno verticale al centro dell’immagine che visualizza il fianco della vettura ci rendiamo conto della simmetria. I due elementi, fronte e retro, possono infatti essere spostati per dare modo ad un elemento centrale di inserirsi nella struttura e trasformarla in un mini-bus con 6/7 posti a sedere oppure si può eliminare la parte posteriore e sostituirla con un alloggiamento aperto che trasforma il tutto in un furgoncino da città.
Purtroppo i tempi del concorso non mi concessero di realizzare anche le viste di questi aspetti e non venne compreso. Ora mi riprometto di realizzare le vedute mancanti così da darvi un’idea più precisa di cosa intendevo ed intendo fare.
